How much does a rodent inspection cost?
Our standard rodent inspection is $89 for residential properties in Boca Raton and Palm Beach County. This includes a full interior and exterior walk-through, entry-point analysis, and a written estimate. The $89 is credited 100% toward any treatment or exclusion you book with us — so if you move forward, the inspection is effectively free.
What does the inspection include?
Our technician inspects your attic, crawl spaces, walls, and exterior for signs of rodent activity (droppings, gnaw marks, grease trails, nesting), then identifies every potential entry point. You’ll receive a written report with photos, a clear explanation of what we found, and a no-obligation estimate for treatment.
Do you offer free estimates?
We offer a free phone consultation — after you describe what you’re seeing, we can often narrow down the problem and give you a ballpark range. For an accurate estimate, the $89 on-site inspection is required. That fee is credited to any work you book, so most customers consider it free.
How long does rodent treatment take?
A standard exclusion service takes 3–6 hours depending on the size of your property and the number of entry points. Larger homes or severe infestations may require a second visit. We schedule efficiently so most jobs are fully completed in one day.
What methods do you use to remove rodents?
We use a combination of snap traps, bait stations (where safe and appropriate), and exclusion sealing. Our primary goal is permanent exclusion — physically sealing every entry point with steel mesh, hardware cloth, and caulk so rodents can’t re-enter. Trapping alone is not a long-term solution; sealing is.
Will you kill the rats or just trap them?
For most infestations, we use a combination of snap traps and bait to eliminate the active population, followed by full exclusion sealing to prevent re-entry. We do not use live catch-and-release as a primary method, as it doesn’t solve the entry problem and often leads to re-infestation.
Is rodent treatment safe for my pets and children?
Yes. We use EPA-registered products and place all bait stations in tamper-resistant, locked enclosures that children and most pets cannot open. We’ll discuss every product we use before the job starts and advise you on any temporary precautions. We also offer fully non-toxic exclusion-only options.
What is your guarantee?
We offer a 1-year no-return guarantee on all full exclusion work. If rodents re-enter through a sealed entry point within 12 months, we return and fix it at no charge. The guarantee applies to the sealed areas we worked on — not new entry points created after our visit.
How soon will I stop hearing rodents after treatment?
Most customers notice a dramatic reduction in noise within 48–72 hours as the active population is eliminated. If you had a large infestation, full quiet may take 5–7 days. After exclusion sealing is complete, any remaining entry activity stops entirely.
What if rodents come back?
If rodents return through an area we sealed within the 1-year guarantee period, call us and we’ll return at no cost. If a new entry point appears (e.g. storm damage, contractor work), that would be a new service call — we’ll quote it and in most cases can address it at a reduced rate.
What types of rats are common in Boca Raton?
Boca Raton and Palm Beach County have two primary species: the Roof Rat (Rattus rattus) — agile climbers that live in attics, trees, and upper areas — and the Norway Rat (Rattus norvegicus) — larger, ground-dwelling rats found in garages, crawl spaces, and near landscaping. Roof rats are by far the more common call in Boca Raton.
Why do I suddenly have a rodent problem?
Rodent populations in South Florida spike seasonally — typically in late fall and winter when temperatures drop slightly and food sources change. New construction nearby displaces existing populations. Fallen fruit (citrus, avocado, mango) is a major attractor in Boca Raton. Even if your home is spotless, neighbors can drive rodents toward your property.
How do rats get into my attic?
Roof rats are exceptional climbers and can enter through gaps as small as a quarter. Common entry points in Boca Raton homes include: roof vents with damaged screens, gaps along rooflines where fascia meets soffit, pipe penetrations through walls, open garage doors, and palm tree fronds touching the roofline. Our inspection identifies all of these.
Do you offer same-day emergency service?
Yes. We maintain emergency availability 7 days a week. If you have an active infestation, a rat in your living space, or evidence of chewed wiring, call +1 (561) 407-6349 directly. We aim for 2–4 hour response time for emergencies. Standard inspections can usually be booked same-day.
Do you service commercial properties?
Yes. We handle commercial accounts including restaurants, warehouses, HOAs, multi-family residential, retail, and office buildings. Commercial contracts include regular inspection schedules, detailed reporting, and documentation suitable for health department inspections.
What areas do you serve?
We serve all of Boca Raton and the greater Palm Beach County area, including Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Deerfield Beach, Coconut Creek, Pompano Beach, Parkland, Coral Springs, and Lake Worth. Call us if you’re unsure whether your area is covered — we may be able to help.
