Rodent Specialists — Not Generalists
Vermin Shield was founded by pest control professionals who noticed a gap in the market: most pest companies treat rodents as an afterthought — just another checkbox on a multi-service contract. We disagreed.
We built Vermin Shield around one focus: permanently solving rodent problems for South Florida homeowners and businesses. That focus means we know more, move faster, and get better results than any generalist service.
Every technician is licensed, background-checked, and trained specifically in rodent behavior, entry-point analysis, and exclusion. We don’t just set traps — we find out how they got in and make sure they can’t come back.
- Founded by licensed Florida pest control professionals
- 500+ Boca Raton homes treated and protected

- 1-year no-return guarantee on all exclusion work
Our Core Values
Every job we take is guided by four non-negotiables.
Guaranteed Results
We back every exclusion job with a 1-year no-return guarantee. If rodents come back within 12 months, we return and fix it — free of charge. No fine print.
Pet & Family Safe
We use EPA-registered, pet-safe products and non-toxic exclusion methods wherever possible. We’ll always discuss options with you before starting any treatment.
Honest Pricing
We quote before we arrive — the price you’re given on the phone is the price on the invoice. No surprise fees, no upselling traps you didn’t ask for.
Local & Community-Focused
We live and work in Palm Beach County. Our reputation is built one neighborhood at a time — and we treat your home the way we’d treat our own.
Licensed & Certified
All technicians hold Florida state pest control licenses and complete ongoing training. We carry full liability insurance and worker’s compensation coverage.
Rodents Are Our Only Business
Most pest control companies offer 20+ services — rodents are one line item on a long menu. That means a generalist with basic training treats your home.
When you call Vermin Shield, every technician has handled hundreds of rodent jobs — specifically in South Florida’s climate, construction styles, and rat species. That specialization is what makes our 1-year guarantee possible.
Licensed, Insured, and Accountable
We meet every Florida state requirement — and then go further.
Florida State License
All technicians hold a valid Florida Department of Agriculture pest control license. License numbers available on request.
Full Liability Insurance
$1M general liability coverage plus worker’s compensation. Certificate of insurance available for commercial clients and HOA requirements.
Background-Checked Staff
Every technician passes a criminal background check before entering your home. We take the trust you place in us seriously.

“Mike D.”
— Boca Raton
“We’d tried two other companies. Vermin Shield actually found the entry points, sealed everything, and the rats haven’t come back in 8 months. Worth every penny.”
— Sandra L.
“Delray Beach”
— Super professional. Showed up on time, explained everything, and didn’t try to upsell me. The $89 inspection fee was credited to the treatment. Five stars.
